That Rotten Old Camaro by KyleAndTheClassics That Rotten Old Camaro by KyleAndTheClassics
1968 Chevrolet Camaro 327 4-speed that I have been after since the day I first saw it about 2 years ago. The poor thing has sat here, since at least 1979, watching local high school students walk by and drive their cars, and it probably has been thinking "why couldn't that be me." I have talked to people all over Calgary and I have been told by at least 10 different people that they have inquired about this forsaken Camaro with no success of even being able to contact him to inquire, in fact neighbors have only ever seen him tossing out notes without even looking at them and inflating the worn-out tires, nothing has been done otherwise to it since it was parked, and he doesn't even clean off the gravel in the grill. The rear window was so rotten and the stripping so corroded the rear window was pulled out and someone has taped the glass back into place, next piece of glass to go is the windshield. Despite the rot, the car has at least sat on pavement and not grass, unlike any of my cars. I will try and try and try my hardest to get this car saved, this will be the car that I probably will die trying to get.

More photos of the Camaro of my dreams:

He won't talk to people let alone sell the thing, he's been letting it sit since 1976 and no matter what amount you throw at him he won't respond, not to mention I have all my funds directed at the restoration of my Cougar's

Hostage situation.

Save Ferris!

He could make a lot of money of this. (Grade school niece says this.)

I actually love the rusty appearance. If it were mine, I'd just fix up the mechanical bits and clearcoat the body to preserve that beautiful rust
